This is an opportunity to promote a rich intellectual discussion, interaction between doctoral students and more experienced researchers, and collaboration between doctoral students working on similar topics. The finalists will be invited to present at the World CAAD PhD Workshop, together with finalists from our sister organizations (eCAADe, ACADIA, ASCAAD and CAADRIA) to be held online on December 8th and 9th, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n

The research proposal should describe and contextualize the problem, present its relevance, the methods that will be used to develop it and expected contribution to the field. Being close to completion, the presentation should also describe the results. Proposals can be written in English, Portuguese or Spanish and may have a maximum of 1,500 words. Entries must be uniquely authored, and the name of the advisor should be stated in the proposal. Proposals must be sent in a PDF file through the Google Form: <\/span>https:\/\/forms.gle\/5swbHLc4Pt6LL32x6<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Workshop participants can also send articles to the SIGraDi congress, even if the title or content is similar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Review Process<\/b><\/p>\n

The review process will take into account the quality of the research proposal and academic writing. Authors of approved proposals should incorporate the changes suggested by the reviewers and resubmit their papers by the final deadline. Presentations and discussions will be in English, Portuguese or Spanish, but the slides must be in English. The text and presentation should be preferably in English, although it is not mandatory.<\/span><\/p>\n
