The annual conference is the principal event that promotes SIGraDi and is organized by a Latin American voluntary institution, with experience and academic background that applies two years before future conference. The International Executive Committee will be responsible for advising and assisting the Local Organizing Committee through the Vice-Presidency for International Relations. For 25 years (SIGraDi#25), SIGraDi conferences have been face-to-face in nineteen Latin American cities (1997-2018) and in one European city (2019). In the last two years the conferences were held remotely and ubiquitously (2020-2021).

Conference papers presented at SIGraDi will be available at Blucher Design Proceedings and CumInCAD databases. Authors with conference papers with the highest scores will be invited to present an extended version for the International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC), published by SAGE Journal, as well as for the journal Gestão & Tecnologia de Projetos published by the Universidade de São Paulo.
